Students must read and understand a short PDF document on OHS and chainsaw theory if we go the Accredited course.
PPE is a must, and the Ararat Women’s Shed can assist with this if needed.
SES:
The chainsaw unit required for emergency services work is: Trim and cut felled trees FPICOT2239A
This unit maps across to the unit: Operate and Maintain Chainsaws which means it is the equivalent course. There may be some extra administration involved to show this mapping and correlation.
Our own take on a stitching circle, stitch n bitch, stitch n sip…. Whatever your flavour of hand-held craft, we can do it! The Ararat TAMA Gallery is going to be our home for a monthly get-together from 5:30pm to 8:30pm. Come and go as you please. No charge to attend. Bring your knitting, embroidery, crocheting, hemming, shirts with lost buttons, anything you can do by hand.
