Who we are

Ararat Women’s Shed (and surrounds) is a community based not for profit organisation run by our members. It’s designed to help local women of all ages connect through workshops and shared interests.  The shed is brand new (founded in 2026) and intends to commence a membership drive, find a ‘shed’ for us to operate out of, run regular member meetups and put on workshops.

Our small management committee will be made up of member volunteers who also run activities and day to day tasks. We are currently seeking a Treasurer, Secretary and Vice President, as well as general committee members and lots of ideas!

We are actively looking for a space, and sponsors.

Meet our logo! Very kindly donated by Jackett Agency, it combines a number of our stunning local elements, from wheat to sheep, grapevines to Mt Langi Ghiran (seen from the winery side). And, of course, a shed.
